he keeps busy running a successful Pediatric and Adult
Wellness/Fitness Program that incorporates all phases
of a balanced, therapeutic lifestyle. Programs include:

Rehabilitation, Massage Therapy, Pilates, Flexibility
Therapy(PNF, AIS), Nutrition, Weight Management Programs,
Active Release Technique, Biomechanics, Clinical KinesioTaping,
Olympic Weightlifting, Strong Man Training, Powerlifting,
Combat Sport Conditioning, Group Conditioning, Sound
Therapy, and Aqua Therapy to name a few. His clientele
is diverse and ranges from handicap children, executives,
entrepreneurs, corporate CEO’s and recreational weightlifters
of any age or gender serious about taking their fitness
protocols to the next level.
His desire to become an entrepreneur began at the age
of 5 while accompanying his father to his grocery store
in NYC. This experience provided vast opportunities
to enhance social skills in addition to understanding
the process of being a proprietor.
He began competitive sports at age 6. Track and Field,
Basketball, Baseball, Football, Soccer, Boxing, and
Martial Arts. Early on, he discovered the importance
of Speed and the role that it plays in achieving success
in every major sport. After watching the 1984 Olympics
and observing in awe the physique of Carl Lewis, he
immediately noticed the impact that weight training
had on the body. But, it wasn’t until his cousin, an
amateur bodybuilder, introduced him to nutrition, that
he began to put the pieces of the puzzle together. He
read every bodybuilding publication he could find. Memorizing
the weightlifting routines and nutrition protocols of
champion bodybuilders. He won every major Sprint race
during Junior High School and proceeded to do the same
during High School. There were major obstacles, puberty,
growth, and injury. He grew 5 inches during his first
2 years of High School with the addition of running
practices on a hard floor during the cold winter months.
The quick growth and the hard floor plagued Anthony
with low back injuries throughout his high school career.
After all major therapies failed to heal his back, Anthony
developed a daily rehabilitation program coupled with
a reduced volume of sprint/power work. The results were
astounding, after a few weeks, he registered race times
that were far better than his personal best. Because
Intensity dictates volume, Anthony found that success
lied not in doing repetition after repetition, but in
doing each repetition at its maximum in order to activate
optimal neurological imprinting. Proper rest, massage,
sauna, ice were some of the methods used to regenerate
his body after every intense workout. By age 15, Anthony
was leg pressing 750 lbs. x 10 reps x 4 sets, doing
750 pushups a day.
College Football Recruiters were in awe of his 4.19
effort in the 40 yard dash. Having not played high school
football, Anthony turned his attention directly to Pro
Football on the basis of his speed only. But, at 5’9,
172 lbs, recruiters gave him exactly one month to put
on some mass if he wanted to be a competitive and successful
Running Back. Happily accepting the challenge, he turned
to some of the unwritten nutrition tactics that he picked
up during his many experiences and remembering some
of the advice he picked up from his cousin. Reducing
his weight lifting program from 5 days to 2, he was
able to maximize the intensity of each workout. His
body weight shot up to 217 lbs. in 28 days. Leg press
from 750 lbs x 10 reps to 1500 lbs x 17 reps. Bench
press from 185 lbs. x 10 to 315 lbs x 10 and 405 lbs
x 3. A Star was now born. Blessed with Speed, Power,
Strength, and explosiveness. After a successful 2 years
of Pro Football and no longer interested in the abuse,
wear and tear on the body associated with Football,
Anthony turned his attention to finishing school and
helping others achieve their physical fitness/wellness
goals. He finally found his niche. Helping others is
his calling.
He enrolled in and embraced in every Therapeutic modality
that crossed his path. Physical Therapy, Occupational
Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Sound Therapy, Massage
Therapy, Movement Therapy, Active Release Technique,
KinesioTape, Pilates, Weight lifting, Sport Nutrition,
Sport Psychology, and so much more. His goal is to be
able to help educate and instruct anyone/everyone on
the importance of physical fitness and wellness.
In 2000, after graduating with honors from Bio Medical
Research for Texas A&M University, Anthony founded The
Fitness Pros, An expert team of strength coaches and
rehabilitation professionals. Four years later, Anthony
unveiled an exclusive line of Nutritional Sport Supplements.
His motto “Intense Exercise, Intense Results” speaks
for itself.
